Marbella City Council Completes Renovation of Marbella Lighthouse and Surroundings
The Marbella City Council has finished the renovation works of the Marbella Lighthouse and its surroundings, which are now open to the public, becoming a new point of reference that connects the Promenade with the city center. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz highlighted that ‘with this intervention, we not only recover a symbolic place, but fully integrate it into urban life, opening another door between the sea and the town’ and emphasized that ‘the action reflects the city model we are committed to, more friendly, functional, and designed for people’, while pointing out that ‘we have transformed an iconic, previously closed and degraded area into a modern, accessible space intended for the enjoyment of residents and visitors’.
