Marbella City Council Announces Competitive Grants for Sports Organizations
The Local Government Board has announced the publication of a call for competitive grants for sports organizations in Marbella, Las Chapas, and Nueva Andalucía, with a total amount of 210,000 euros. The application period is open from today until August 19. San Pedro Alcántara will launch its own call in the coming days, with a budget of 154,000 euros compared to last year’s 131,000 euros. The Councilor for Sports, Lisandro Vieytes, and the deputy mayor of San Pedro, Javier García, highlighted the differences between the two processes. Vieytes emphasized that the goal is to support the expenses of the city’s clubs related to official competitions, daily operations, and event organization.
