Marbella City Council Activates Municipal Emergency Plan for Easter Week
The Marbella City Council will activate the Municipal Emergency Plan tomorrow, Thursday, April 17, for the busiest days of Easter Week. This plan includes an increase in personnel and the technological support of drones and surveillance cameras at key points. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, chaired a coordination meeting today between the National Police, Local Police, Civil Protection, and Firefighters, emphasizing the goal of achieving maximum security levels and ensuring the smooth running of the celebrations, especially in areas like the Old Town or procession routes. The operation will continue until next Sunday, focusing on the days with the highest expected crowds. The mayor highlighted the additional effort that all professionals involved will make and stated, ‘We want residents and visitors to enjoy knowing that there is a great team of professionals ensuring their well-being.’
