Marbella Celebrates Moraga Popular to Honor Tourism Professionals
Marbella once again turned out for the Moraga Popular, an event organized by the City Council in collaboration with the Fishermen’s Guild and the Beach Entrepreneurs Association of the Costa del Sol. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz joined residents at the event held simultaneously on the beaches of La Venus (Marbella), La Salida (San Pedro Alcántara), Levante (Puerto Banús), and Real de Zaragoza (Las Chapas), where 1,700 kilos of sardines and 1,000 kilos of chopped tomatoes were distributed, along with bread and drinks. ‘It’s a day to enjoy and pay tribute to the tourism sector, essential for the local economy, and bid farewell to summer in a special way,’ emphasized the mayor.
