The City Council commemorated Europe Day with an institutional event held at the Royal Hospital of Mercy, where various entrepreneurs were recognized for their contribution to the local social and economic fabric. The advisor responsible for Resident Foreigners, Remedios Bocanegra, emphasized during her speech the ‘essential role played by European associations in defending the spirit of coexistence and mutual understanding’ and stressed that ‘Marbella, as the cosmopolitan city it is, is a true reflection of the cultural richness and diversity of our continent.’
