Marbella Calls on Central Government to Reinvest 2.6 Million Euros for Beach Improvements

Marbella has urged the central government to reinvest the 2.6 million euros it annually collects from the city for beach occupation into making improvements along the coast. The council has unanimously approved a proposal to continuously add sand from dredging operations until coastal stabilization projects are completed. The lack of proportional investment in protecting and restoring the coastline has been highlighted, stressing the need for efficient planning and sustainable solutions.
