Marbella becomes the first municipality in Andalusia to have a PGOM adapted to the LISTA

The Marbella City Council has received the favorable report from the Ministry of Development, Territorial Articulation, and Housing on the final document of the General Urban Planning Plan (PGOM), making it the first municipality in the autonomous community to adapt its planning to the Law of Impulse for the Sustainability of the Territory of Andalusia (LISTA). With this opinion, the City Council will be able to proceed in the coming weeks to the final approval of the document in Plenary, replacing the current PGOU, which dates back to 1986. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, has described the resolution as ‘great news not only for the City Council but for the entire city’ and has emphasized that ‘being the first locality in the region to complete this process marks a before and after in urban planning.’
