Marbella achieves historic record of travelers in April and consolidates its tourist strength
Marbella continues to consolidate its tourist strength with historic results in April. The latest data published by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) place the municipality among the destinations with the best occupancy, profitability, and employment indicators, while also reinforcing the international and ‘premium’ character of the destination. Specifically, during this period, hotel establishments welcomed 78,711 travelers, the highest number for this month on record, representing a 28 percent increase compared to the previous year. Of these, 62,690 were international tourists and 16,021 were domestic, indicating that eight out of ten travelers who chose Marbella came from the international market.
