Local Equality Delegation Addresses 3,188 Inquiries, 25% Related to Gender Violence
The City Council held the 61st meeting of the Local Monitoring Table against Domestic Violence today. During the meeting, data collected since the last session, held on February 26, was shared, and action protocols were reviewed to strengthen prevention and protection of victims. The Equality Councilor, Isabel Cintado, stated that ‘this is a very important body because it allows for working together, sharing updated information, and improving all actions in this area’ and emphasized that ‘prevention and anticipation of new threats remain top priorities in our daily work.’
