Local Culture Department’s Film Area to Screen Dozens of Movies This Fall
The Local Culture Department’s Film Area will be screening dozens of movies this fall, both at the IES Río Verde in Marbella and at the Municipal Music Center in San Pedro Alcántara. The program will kick off with the Buñuel Film Club on October 22 and 23, featuring ‘Secrets of a Crime’ by Sandhya Suri in Marbella (screenings on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 p.m.) and on the 24th in San Pedro (at 8:00 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.). Acclaimed at the Cannes Film Festival, this film, which has received numerous awards, is a crime drama that deals with the social reality of a country plagued by systematic machismo.
