Improvement Works in Cristo de los Molinos Progressing Well and Reach 85% Completion
The improvement works on Cristo de los Molinos street, carried out by the City Council, are progressing well and have reached 85% of their execution. After completing the sidewalk and road sign painting, the project now focuses on lighting the road and installing new streetlights, with these interventions set to be finished during the second week of April, as announced by the councilor, Diego López. The municipal official detailed that a sidewalk has been built in a 215-meter stretch between the intersection of Cristo de los Molinos with Francisco de Maraver and Ronda de Nabrisa, as well as road signs on the pavement. López emphasized that this measure, which required clearing both sides of the street, ‘allows pedestrians to walk safely, unlike before when, due to the vegetation on both sides of the road and the absence of sidewalks, neighbors’ circulation was impossible.’
