Experts, youth, and institutional representatives gather in Marbella to discuss climate change challenges and impacts

The Adolfo Suárez Congress Palace hosted a sustainability forum today where experts, youth, and institutional representatives reflected on the challenges and real impacts of climate change. The meeting, closed by Deputy Mayor Félix Romero, brought together the national spokesperson for the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), Rubén del Campo, and a member of the OECD Corporate Governance Committee Bureau, Juan Munguira. The president of the Association of Municipalities of the Western Costa del Sol, Manuel Cardeña, emphasized the need to promote a dialogue space aiming to generate a shared and realistic vision of cities’ role in ecological transition and raise awareness about the environmental challenges of our time, highlighting the importance of collaboration between municipalities and promoting public-private initiatives in this area.
