Construction of New Public Library in San Pedro Alcántara to Begin Next Monday

The construction of the new public library in San Pedro Alcántara, a cultural facility of over 1,300 square meters spread across two floors, will start next Monday. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, announced after the Local Government Board meeting that the building, with a municipal investment of 3.86 million euros, will be located in Jorge Lorenzo Park in El Arquillo. It will include a separate study room, a children’s area, conference space, and a walkable roof. The mayor described it as a modern, functional infrastructure long awaited by residents, emphasizing that the project will revitalize an underused area of the park, providing citizens with a dynamic and accessible space.
