Completion of Benabola Stream Sanitation and Conditioning Works
The City Council has completed the sanitation and conditioning works of the Benabola stream to prevent flooding issues during river flooding. The project also involved the creation of a 1.5-kilometer-long riverside path connecting Nueva Andalucía with Puerto Banús for the recreation of residents. The path is equipped with rest areas, lighting, benches, fountains, meadows, and extensive green spaces, enhancing the tourism appeal of the municipality.
