City Council to present extraordinary budget modifications for 7.4 million euros for public interest investments

The City Council will bring to the extraordinary Plenary session scheduled for this Friday, September 12, a series of credit budget modifications totaling 7.4 million euros to strengthen public interest investments before the end of the year, in areas such as beaches, district conservation, and the environment. The municipal spokesperson, Félix Romero, explained that in today’s Information Commission, issues were addressed such as establishing new needs for credits that are not expected to be used, such as an additional contribution of 400,000 euros for the comprehensive beach conservation plan. They will continue the ongoing work of sand movement and algae removal to prevent any potential future issues.
