City Council to Install 1,200 Square Meters Covering for Outdoor Court at Carlos Cabezas Pavilion
The City Council is installing a 1,200 square meters cover over the outdoor court adjacent to the Carlos Cabezas Pavilion to optimize its use and ensure year-round availability without being interrupted by adverse weather conditions. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, emphasized that the works, with an expected completion period of four months and an investment of nearly 700,000 euros, are being carried out in coordination with the Marbella Basket and Club Baloncesto Marbella entities to meet their demands. “By installing a large metal structure, we will expand the covered sports space by over a thousand square meters, which will be added to the existing area,” stated the mayor, who visited the site alongside the councilors of Works, Diego López, Sports, Lisandro Vieytes, and East district, Enrique Rodríguez, as well as the presidents of Marbella Basket, Alejandro Rodríguez, and Club Baloncesto Marbella, Julio Morales.
