City Council to Create New Parking Spaces and Improve Security in City Infrastructure
The City Council will create new parking spaces on Doctor Maíz Viñals Avenue and improve security on the Cristo del Amor bridge. The project will involve traffic closures starting this Wednesday, January 7th, at the entrance from the Civil Guard roundabout. Another closure will occur at the exit towards the same roundabout once the work in the first area is completed. Councilor Diego López stated that these improvements will enhance the quality of life for residents living in the La Represa park area, between Miraflores and Santa Marta, by providing more parking spaces. Additionally, the project aims to ensure the safety of the bridge, which connects these two neighborhoods and is used daily by thousands of vehicles and pedestrians.
