City Council starts remodeling works at Adolfo Suárez Congress Palace to make it modern, accessible, and energy-efficient

The City Council has begun the remodeling works at the Adolfo Suárez Trade Fair and Congress Palace to transform it into a modern, accessible, and energy-efficient facility. Mayor Ángeles Muñoz highlighted that the current focus is on waterproofing the building’s roof. The comprehensive intervention, with a budget of 2.3 million euros under the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan (PRTR) funded by the EU – Next Generation, will also receive an additional half a million euros from the Tourism department for the subsequent automation of the space.
