City Council Organizes New Edition of Environmental Education Program for Over 7,200 Schoolchildren

The City Council has organized a new edition of the Environmental Education Program with 145 outings to bring 7,250 schoolchildren closer to the natural environment, introduce them to its richness, and promote responsible attitudes in this area. The responsible advisor for Parks and Gardens, Eloy Ortega, presented this initiative, which will take place from October 2025 to June 2026 and will involve the 35 educational centers in the locality, both public and private. ‘This is a completely free activity that includes transportation, specialized monitors, and accident insurance,’ emphasized the municipal representative, who added that this action aims to reach over 35,000 students over a total period of 5 years.
