City Council Initiates Urban Development Project for La Vizcaína

The City Council has taken the first step in the urban development of ‘La Vizcaína’, a 623,000 square meter plot located in the eastern part of the city. The project will reserve space for a large educational facility, protected housing, and hotel facilities. Councilor José Eduardo Díaz stated that the approval of the municipal interest and convenience declaration in the Local Government Board allows for the consolidation and completion of the city, providing necessary services. The area, surrounded by residential developments, is to the south of the AP-7 and borders the highway to the north, La Reserva de Marbella to the west, and Artola Alta and Cabopino golf course to the south. The reclassification of this area will integrate it into the existing urban fabric, significantly improving the road network and communications in the area.
