City Council Initiates Renovation Works on Carril del General to Improve Pedestrian Safety and Accessibility
The City Council has started renovation works on Carril del General to enhance pedestrian safety, ensure accessibility, and promote future urban developments. The councilor of Public Works, Diego López, emphasized the necessity of this intervention in a highly trafficked street in the Las Chapas district, given its proximity to the Costa del Sol University Hospital and the Cilniana High School. According to López, the street presented numerous issues for both residents and the daily flow of vehicles. The renovation project is expected to take approximately three months to complete.
