City Council Improves Accessibility, Pedestrian Mobility, and Road Safety in Constitution Avenue

The City Council has undertaken works to improve accessibility, pedestrian mobility, and road safety on Constitution Avenue, one of the main arteries of San Pedro Alcántara, specifically over an area of about 700 square meters between Jerez Street and Andalucía Avenue. The deputy mayor of San Pedro, Javier García, highlighted today that the new intervention in this area, with a budget of around 200,000 euros and an estimated execution period of two months, ‘responds to requests made by both residents and merchants.’ The councilor explained that ‘it was a section where there were two platforms at different heights connected by ramps and steps that did not meet regulations, in addition to large planters built decades ago that created architectural barriers.’
