City Council Donates 1,200 Euros to CADI Association from Eco Cup Sales at Marbepop Festival

The Youth Councillor, Alejandro González, presented today a 1,200 euro check to the president of the CADI Association (Center for Child Diversity), Angie Sánchez. This amount comes from the proceeds of the sales of eco-friendly reusable cups (ecocups) sold alongside the first drink at an extra cost of one euro at the Marbepop Festival held on October 25th. The councilor emphasized that ‘this is an initiative that we will continue to maintain over time, which allows us to help local groups in a very simple way, while maintaining a commitment to ecological matters within this event.’ ‘The festival bar was managed this year by the Marbella Musical Group, which actively collaborated in this charitable and sustainable action,’ explained González.
