City Council boosts urban transformation of Swedish Forest Center

The Local Government Board has taken a decisive step today in the development of the urban transformation project of the Swedish Forest Center, ‘an action of great relevance for the city that will allow creating a new high-level, sustainable hotel space fully integrated into its natural surroundings.’ This sector exceeds 40,000 square meters and currently has a hotel facility (Boho Club) of about 7,000 square meters, which with this initiative will almost quadruple to reach 25,000 square meters. It will also preserve 6,275 square meters of green areas and includes the construction of a new roundabout on the old N-340 road, at the junction with Puerto Banús, ‘with the aim of improving traffic flow and decongesting access to this area.’
