City Council Approves Plan for Improvements in Municipal Sports Facilities with ‘Historic Investment’

The City Council has approved a plan for improvements in municipal sports facilities that includes more than thirty actions to be carried out by the end of the year. The Councillors for Works, Diego López, and for Sports, Lisandro Vieytes, have emphasized that the goal is to modernize the facilities, enhance safety, and improve the user experience in all sports spaces in the city. López highlighted that the Council will make a ‘historic investment’ for these interventions, allocating 6.5 million euros for Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara over 5 years (1.3 annually), with most actions this year focused on the Serrano Lima Sports Complex.
