City Council approves collaboration agreement to complete urbanization of San Pedro Industrial Estate Phase II

The City Council today approved in the Local Government meeting the collaboration agreement to complete the urbanization of the second phase of the San Pedro Alcántara Industrial Estate, which covers an area of 94,000 square meters. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, emphasized that this is ‘a priority action for the economic growth of the area’. The agreement involves an investment of 2.87 million in road works, sanitation, electricity, water supply, and waste management by the property owners, who will form an urbanization entity. These long-awaited interventions will address the numerous deficiencies inherited from a development started between 1994 and 2000 that was not properly executed. The mayor stressed that this will allow the Council to finally receive this area and ensure that the plots have all the necessary services for their activities.
