Awards Ceremony for Short Story Contest Held by Arcos Blancos Neighbors Association
The Mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, along with the Councilor for Citizen Participation, Enrique Rodríguez, attended the awards ceremony for the short story contest organized by the Arcos Blancos Neighbors Association in San Pedro Alcántara. The competition, now in its second edition, featured 15 participants and concluded with the presentation of three awards for the best stories. This year, a new addition was a creative writing workshop for children held at the association’s headquarters, aimed at providing youngsters with tools and guidance for crafting their stories. Muñoz emphasized the importance of promoting literature among the youth and praised the quality of the submitted stories. She highlighted the educational and cultural work of the association, especially in supporting school activities and extracurricular programs that aid in family balance and enhance children’s education.
