Ancient Grafisms Discovered in Stone Block in Las Chapas

The Department of Culture, Education, and Historical Heritage reports the discovery of grafisms on a stone block that could be over 200,000 years old, during an archaeological intervention at the Coto Correa site in Las Chapas. This site, known for hosting the oldest remains of the city, is archaeologically protected due to the accidental discovery of lithic tools dating back to the lower stages of the Paleolithic period in the 1950s.
