New Image of the Divina Pastora to Parade through the Streets of Marbella on October 10th
The Parochial Association of the Divina Pastora will solemnly present their new titular image on Saturday, October 10th. The image, a sculpture crafted by the artist Jonathan Alonso, will be unveiled for the first time on that day. The day will commence at 6:00 p.m. with a mass in the church square of this neighborhood, led by the Bishop Emeritus of Malaga, Jesús Catalá, who will bless the Virgin solemnly. Following this, at 7:00 p.m., an extraordinary procession will take place through the streets of Marbella. The Mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, along with the councilor of Citizen Participation, Enrique Rodríguez, have supported this initiative and highlighted the involvement of the parish, the organization, and all the residents of Divina Pastora in this event. The Mayor has encouraged participation in this event, stating that ‘they will always have the full support of the City Council because we are proud to see increasing community involvement in such events.’
