Marbella Sees Significant Increase in Hotel Workers and Occupancy Rate in August
Marbella saw a 28.3% increase in hotel workers in August, reaching a total of 5,688 employees compared to 4,432 in the same month in 2025. The hotel occupancy rate also rose to 84.6%, up from 82.57% in the previous year. These figures reflect the positive impact of tourism on the local economy, creating opportunities and wealth in the city. In August, hotels in Marbella accommodated 83,817 travelers and recorded 346,352 overnight stays.
