Marbella pays tribute to entrepreneur Juan Jiménez Alarcón by naming a street after him in San Pedro Alcántara
The City Council today paid tribute to Juan Jiménez Alarcón by inaugurating a street bearing his name in San Pedro Alcántara. The event was attended by the mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, as well as family, friends, and neighbors. The mayor highlighted the profound impact left by a man she described as ‘entrepreneurial, hardworking, approachable, generous, and always willing to help,’ noting that the inclusion of his name on the street map represents ‘an especially emotional recognition because Juan is part of the town’s history.’ Although born in Estepona, he arrived as a child in El Ingenio, where he grew up and developed much of his personal and professional career. ‘This was his land, his home, and the place where he wanted to live his life,’ stated the mayor.
