Marbella introduces a plan for installing decorative canvases to enhance the aesthetics of the Old Town
The City Council, through the Commerce department and the West district, has launched a plan to install decorative canvases in the Old Town with the aim of improving urban aesthetics and reinforcing the image of one of the most visited and emblematic areas of the municipality. This initiative, part of the Touristic Plan for Major Cities in Andalusia, seeks to beautify the urban environment by placing these elements in various locations, especially on unused lots and properties, to transform previously degraded spaces into visually appealing points that enhance the overall perception of the historic center. These canvases, in addition to covering deteriorated areas, will display infographics and tourist promotion designs featuring images of Marbella’s main attractions, becoming a tool to strengthen the visual identity of the municipality and offer a more curated experience to residents and visitors.
