Marbella to Showcase Sporting and Touristic Strength with Davis Cup Tie
Marbella will once again demonstrate its strength in sports and tourism with the celebration of the Davis Cup tie, taking place for the fifth time in the city, where Spain will face Denmark this weekend. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, has visited the national team today and highlighted that ‘everything is ready to host an event that has a great impact, with a capacity for 5,000 spectators, putting our municipality in the media spotlight by being present in the main sports platforms.’ Furthermore, the mayor stated that ‘when the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET) proposed that this event return to Marbella, both the City Council and the Andalusian Government saw it as a great opportunity.’
