Demolition Works Begin at Antonio Lorenzo Cuevas Municipal Stadium
The demolition works at the Antonio Lorenzo Cuevas Municipal Stadium have already started and will continue for the next four months. This action is part of the initial phase of the project to build new facilities, driven by the City Council and the Marbella Football Club Foundation. The mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, along with the councilors of Public Works and Sports, Diego López and Lisandro Vieytes, respectively, and the representative of the Marbella entity, Esteban Granero, have inspected the progress of the works today and emphasized that ‘we are facing an iconic project, with an investment exceeding 120 million euros, which will bring about a real transformation for the city, not only in terms of sports but also urban development.’
